hi friend!
I'M ELIZABETH
As a born again believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, faith is an integral part of my life, woven into the fabric of who I am. I’m also a wife, mother to five, medical freedom advocate, and a pediatric nurse turned full time stay at home homeschooling & homesteading mama.

Over the course of my hospital career which coincided with my own motherhood journey, I became passionate about empowering parents to think critically, not to be timid in their questioning, and to advocate for their children. I believe that modern medicine and holistic health can coexist, but working in a traditional allopathic system as a holistic minded individual became increasingly tiring.
In 2020, I made the decision to come home full time after close to a decade inside those hospital walls. I still maintain licensure as a RN, and have the blessing of sharing that knowledge to empower and encourage mamas all over the world.

MORE ABOUT ME
Credentials & Experience
I graduated in 2011 with a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing and worked in pediatrics until 2020 when I came home full time. My hospital experience primarily consisted of serving the Pulmonary and Surgical population. I maintain licensure, and hope to be able to use my degree clinically again in some capacity one day.
How did you begin this journey?
After graduation, my husband experienced a health event that left us defeated and abandoned by the allopathic system. This coincided with finding out we were expecting our first child. In those early years I experienced a great deal of "unlearning" many preconceived ideologies. In the years that followed, I slowly learned how to care for things naturally as they arose. Once you have a child, things just shift. I think there's a natural instinct there to research everything.
Where did you grow up?
I was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. I met my husband there, and after getting married and having some sweet years as newlyweds, we relocated to St Louis for a few years to be near his family. We ultimately ended up in the great state of Texas and have been here ever since. Give me that sunshine and freedom :)
What' is one of your favorite hymns?
What's one piece of advice you'd give another mama?
Let your children hear you pray. In times of happiness, in times of stress, in times of sadness. Let them see that our Savior is real, He cares, and He desires a relationship with us. More on my faith here.
